Essential Oil Recipes

This index of essential oil recipes is an incredible resource for essential oil users of all skill levels.  On these pages you will find out how simple it is to make healthy, natural and effective essential oil recipes that will reduce the amount of toxic chemicals in your cleaning, body and wellness products.

You can hardly go anywhere on the internet without seeing some reference to how people are using their essential oils.  I oft times would copy these recipes into my ever increasing computer file full of such. Or worse yet, scratch them down on the back of an envelope.  But then I couldn't find the one I was looking for when I needed it.  So I decided to post them here with an indexing system for fast and easy retrieval. I have done this for my own selfish reasons, but I hope you will find the list as helpful as I have.

A Word About Choosing a Capsule

Everyone has their own preference to which empty capsule they prefer.  Just in case you haven't settled on your favorite, here's one suggestion. I use a vegetarian capsule. It is the alternative to animal gelatin capsules. They are of a pharmaceutical grade quality and most meet both the US Pharmaceutical and the European Pharmacopoeia standard. They are composed of inert vegetable cellulose's and do not interfere with the digestion and absorption of the ingredients contained within.

Filling your own capsules provides a more pleasant and economical way to consume strong tasting herbs or essential oils. The double zero sized capsules ("00") have always been large enough for my needs. The brand I use does not contain yeast, wheat gluten, corn, soy milk, sugar, starch, preservatives or animal products.  Just the ingredients I am trying to avoid anyway by making my own pills.

NOTE: The capsules mentioned dissolve quickly once the essential oil recipes are inside. Be prepared to take your capsule immediately once it is made.
